Yeah, but it is only 1/8th mile. Charleston is fairly close too, but also only 1/8th mile. I'm only hlf way there and I have to lift...

Hhhhmmmmm,,,,,Let me see here,,Memphis + Dover = Gone. Gateway + Dover = Gone. There seems to be a common denominator here,,,whats wrong, can't these guys manage a race track or do they always bite off more than they can chew. How many other tracks do they hold hostage? I'm not liking this, and I don't even live in that part of the country.

You left out the fact that they never finished the track at Nashville. The circle track is dying, they can't even fill the place with free tickets and big name concerts. An over priced crappy cookie cutter track with boring races.
Odds are it'll be closed by the end of 2012, and the drag strip will never open. It's the only thing there that might make money.
