I realize where the picture was taken. I know about the Soutwest Jr fuel Asso. They are at some of the Outlaw Fuel Altered Asso. races. I have had several talks with Frank Parks discussing the Jr. fuel races. If you check their schedules you will see they do run at NHRA tracks.
2010 Schedule April 17th - Evadale Raceway - Evadale, TX - 1/4 mile (Winner: Richard Brady - Runner Up: Ken Hawkins) May 29th - Dallas Raceway's SWJFA Finals - Crandall, TX - 1/4 mile (Winner: Kenneth Stallard - Runner Up: Mike Millsap) June 18-20th - Beech Bend Raceway Park - Bowling Green, KY - 1/4 mile (Non Points Race)(Winner: Ricky Marshall - Runner Up: Ken Hawkins) July 3rd - North Star Dragway - Denton, TX - 1/8 mile (Winner: Richard Brady - Runner Up: Thomas Hixson) September 4th - Ardmore Raceway Hot Rod Reunion - Ardmore, OK - 1/8 mile (Winner: Odie Coker - Runner Up: Steve Dunkin) September 25th - Tulsa Raceway Park Nitro Nationals - Tulsa, OK - 1/4 mile (Winner: Willie Brainerd - Runner Up: Scott Parks) October 23rd - Texas Timing Assoc. State Championships - San Antonio, TX - 1/4 mile November 6th - SWJFA Finals at Concrete Palace - Crandall, TX - 1/4 mile (Race has been canceled due to uncontrollable circumstances I also checked their rules and found... see line 8 Safety Equipment: - Helmet and Protective Clothing: Minimum Snell SA 2000 helmet as required by NHRA. - A SFI Spec 3.2a/15 full fire suit (1 or 2 piece) allowed as required by NHRA. - All suits to include the following: neck collar SFI Spec 3.3 mandatory, boots or shoes 3.3/5 as required by NHRA mandatory, gloves 3.3/5, and adequate face protection meeting all proper NHRA Specs and requirements. A head sock or skirted helmet required if transmission is located in driver's compartment. - Arm restraints mandatory - Valid NHRA competition license mandatory - Any car with no cross member above drivers legs must have strap or device to prevent legs from projecting outside the chassis. - Three inch driver restraint system meeting SFI Spec 16.1 mandatory. Restraint system must be updated in two year intervals from date of manufacture. I guess that is just a line in the rules that has been overlooked since no one told me how someone banned for life gets a license. Oh, is it a case of NHRA providing a license because they need the money? I'm just curious because I want to use NOS on my Super Stocker.

I'm not sure, but I think he was banned from competition for life. Nowwww,Gene Snow I believe was convicted of child molestation, with little boys no less, and guess what? He's not the driver, but he owns and tunes an alcohol dragster.Go figure. My facts might not be totally correct. If they aren't someone can correct me.
