Go to the races and look for cars that are for sale, chances are that if they're competing they are legal. Sign a contract with the owner as to the legality of the car.

Surely they wouldn't let them run if they weren't legal? Don't ask me about the various non-stock seats in stockers I saw while wandering the pits at Indy. JimR
