just remember IHRA HP is not the same as NHRA example the 396 alum head motor is still at old factor which is 130 lighter that the new NHRA HP rating.

So using the NHRA factor/weight, Jim B's run (in killer air) last year in C at Epping would be low 10.30's, in line with the other C runs listed, and six tenths behind the DP's/CJ's. Fun. The 396 will need Dart heads as a replacement head to get close to the new cars.

Easy on the Dart heads! We would see an 8 second Stocker next week if that happened! Although, that may be the only way to catch up with the Wild Thangs and Trouble Paks. Just an opiniion, so don't kill me over it.......

Nitrous Oxide is like dating a hot chick with an STD--you want to hit it, but you're afraid of the consequences.

And if NHRA doesn't do something beyond the AHFS 3.25%, the AHFS will stand for "*** & Head Finely Synchronized".
