Rumor has it for teardown tomorrow it is all the winners and runners-up from AA/SA thru G/SA. Also Brian Wolfe and someone protested Monohan and he has to tear down also.
I was talking with Mark Lelchook a while ago and the West Coast Rulebook came up. He said that if his engine had been built by the west coast rules, he could have outrun Irvin Johns. LOL Well they are about to run the finals in A/SA and B/SA, then we are going to the Ford dinner tonight. More later. |

McClanahan switched to SS/AS for this event. He made his first run with a weight sticker that said 348 cubes 2810 weight. Another competitor noticed his weight and pointed it out that there is a 3180 lb minimum for SS/AS.
This is the story I was told.

 I think this is Grace Howell first round of class.  Tim Lowe after he broke( a rear end ? ) in class.  Bob Tasca and John Force at the Ford dinner tonight.  more shots at Ford. |
