This is not to single out Jeff Teuton and his combo, but rather a look at the stupidity of NHRA and how they assigned the start up HP to ALL off the Factory Race cars.
360 Engine = 275HP / 275 NHRA HP = 11.64 lb/hp = Natural H/SA 360 Engine = 275HP/275 NHRA HP = 11.00 lb/hp + 170# = G/SA = 3195# = 10.629 ET 360 Engine with 3.25% added = 284 NHRA HP = 11.27 lb/hp = Natural G/SA 360 Engine = 275HP/284 NHRA HP = 10.5 lb/hp + 170# = F/SA = 3152# = ????? ET 360 Engine with 3.25% added = 294 NHRA HP = 10.88 lb/hp = Natural F/SA 360 Engine = 275HP/294 NHRA HP = 10.0 lb/hp + 170# = E/SA = 3110# = ????? ET So let me see if I have this right........ Add Horsepower move up a class, take out weight, go faster. This could go on for years... Is this a great plan or what... Bob

This is why these car will take a lifetime to correct, this is nothing like the GM FI. cars of the 90's, yes they were fast but it took more than 10 years of R&D to get them there. Some of these new cars have very little R&D and could probly run 3 tens faster if A they ran them all out or blue printed the engine. SO to anyone comparing this new breed of stockers to the first generation, YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW OUT OF LINE THESE CARS ARE.
