When you look up drag racing.....that's what you should see. I'm doing a little 60 Corvette for SS/LA and if it was'nt for the consistency needed for Super/Stock, I would be yankin that stick. That was really sweet! Wow!

Wade look at what Brad Zaskowski does with his stick car. He will put you on the trailer as fast as any automatic guy can. Last time I looked he was #3 in the national points this year. Bad Brad just may win the championship this year. It can be done. Ed

I need to educate myself on the transmissions, shifters and clutch combinations. I would like to attend a seminar/class on that whole set-up. Does anyone have such a class and/or is there a forum on this stuff? I know of a group out here called "PRO STICK" that run local events, and it is really awesome to watch. I would like to get involved with someone thats been there, done that so to speak.

1. Trans most S/SS guys run a Jerico or a G-Force(You can run a Liberty IF you have a wheel barrel full of cash. 2. Clutch there are many choices most run a Youngblood or a McLeod. My McLeod was done by Hyatt. There is also Hays, Ram, etc simply ask around about this as well. I have found guys have run different clutches and like a particular one. 3. Shifter most run a Long pistol grip, T-handle, etc 4. The truth is the softer you can run the clutch and still be fast the longer everything else will last. To much clutch and you will be spending $$$$$$$$$$$ 5 A couple races ago a friend of mine lost a trans(ProTrans or whatever) he said it was around 4000.00 not a big difference between the two
