It's posted in the Stock Car Classification Guide, in the competition section on the NHRA site.
The new HP ratings and factors are hi-lighted in yellow.

http://www.nhra.com/competition/classification.aspx The 'summary' will be posted on the Lucas Oil page whenever Glendora gets around to but it's usually by the end of July anyway (for mid year adjustments). Meanwhile use the guides; if like me you always check your own combo and then the respective guides for Ford and Dodge to see if the CJ and DP's got hit and then for fun read all the "ouch" and "about time" threads that quickly follow thereafter. Course, anybody triggering instant HP is always good for some entertaining threads (unless it's your combo of course!).

Has a 5.7 or 6.1 combo ever went to the barn? Our 5.7 would have been DQ'd right out of the box. Yes, the 5.7 was factored at 305 hp (which is a joke) , but how can hp be added to an engine if it didn't make a trip to the barn?

The truth is, on order to add HP to a combination because of a run, the car that made the run should have to go through the same inspection as it takes to set a record.

Sounds like history is repeating itself with the Gen III Hemi's.

They ain't the lone ranger. It happens to plenty of combinations. It's not a requirement that an "instant HP" pass yields a teardown. It's the exception, rather than the rule.
