Because, being fortunate, we often share what we have with a friend who has less. Water, tools, electricity, food, cooler/refrigerator space, cooking, etc. I also often help crew another car for a friend who may not have any help, and needs some. Why should we NOT have a spot next to us for him, just because he can't leave the same time we can?

We pretty much park where NHRA tells us to park, like everyone else. And then, if necessary, we tell them we have a person who would like to park with us, and they tell us if it is possible.

I have no problem with that, with in a day. Its helped me before. One or two spots, no problem.
Especially, if I have to bring my loud *** generator !! HA ha !!
