Any truth to the rumor that they are sending Stockers home and anyone else can pull out of the event?

Lyn is correct. Only the alcohol cars, Comp eliminator and the Allstars were allowed into the pits. The grass pits were very wet. All of the remaining sportsman racers were pitted across the street at the Chicagoland Speedway. We were told that we could tow our cars across the street and on to the staging lanes, which is approximately 2 miles. We were also given the option of leaving and transferring. Since towing wasn't an option for me since I was by myself and without a golf cart, I chose the later. With condition of the grass pits, it's obvious NHRA had little option. I did see a certain sportsman team back their rig into the line for pro pit parking and proceed into the track, presumably to park with their pro teamates.
