That would be a cool thing for sure Pete. Both groups have great racers in them. The only difference between them is ASRA has heads up races while ECSSSA is strictly dial in. Myself I love the heads up races but that would have to be worked out between Dave and the ASRA board.

ASRA is governed by 6 elected directors George Mirza, Bob Broadbent,Howard Hogg, Don Fardie, Dan Mistretta, and myself. Your suggestion has been discussed many times and the main issue is always scheduling. I am sure Dave Ley will tell you that the hardest part of organizing these associations is scheduling. There is just so much going on between holidays,tracks schedules,division schedule,national schedules,other special races etc, that it is hard to add anything. I wish it wasn't this way. When ASRA started in the 1980's, we had 8 races per year and it was easy to schedule them. Now we have 6 races and it is very hard to get them all in. That's my take on it, wish it was easier, we would love to have a "vs" race
