Would somebody please correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to remember reading years ago about a run of 1964 Malibu SS hardtops (200 cars?) with 409/340 engines and all were Powerglides.

i wish they had a put a 427 tunnel port in the 66-67 Fairlane .

That would have been one sweet ride.

Or the 1966 Pontiac GTO, since the 421 was still being installed in the larger vehicles, a nice retro-version of the 63' HO 421/405HP dual-carbed
12.0-1 compression engine in the 66' GTO.

2010 Chevrolet Cobalt coupe. 2,500 unit-build, street legal, rear wheel drive model w/HD 12 bolt rear, HD auto or 6 speed, ZR-1 Corvette powered, 2900 shipping weight......to compete w/the CJ and DP cars...... WJ
