Brrrrrrrrrr................My wife was kind enough to drop me off at the track this morning and what a surprise -- this is not Spring - even if the temps are in the high forties it feels like much less .As for the wind -- Kenny is spot on - bigtime crosswind is evident and I would be surprised that at some point if it continues this race will turn into an 1/8 mile event .

SuperStreet has been called to the lanes but no one has shown up yet - Stock to follow .I'm told everyine will get two hits at the track before eliminations .............later .

On a brighter note the air is much better today ...........

SuperStock Q1 -- Air changed big -- went from -300' during Stock to plus 500 DA during S/S .... Several drivers headed for the wall or the centerline during that round for unknown reasons ."Rapid Ronnie" Morehead at 9.89 and a very clean run -- Marc LeBreque wih his GT Truck tried to take out the centerline ..........

Notes -- Parker with his H/SA on the pole at -1.118 ....Twynam - B/S with a nice pass of -1.094 ... Al Mark -- A/SA with a best ever pass of10.19 only to find himself on page two as there are a lot of fast cars here -- so far 71 entries and counting .. Steve Calabro trying his luck in A/SA this weekend --- with the weight in his Corvette its acting more like a consistant racer .Gary Richard - our race sponser - made a very nice C/SA pass of 10.33 .A total of 14 cars made it past one second under .................Stock Q2 coming up ............

John Solvino - lost us one point in the diaper war -- blew up big in the water box .Lenny Williams in his Stocker lost one in the lights -- another point we lost .

Calabro picked up as most did -- he went 10 flat in A/SA-- Anthony B is starting to show some promise in his AA/SA Cobra Jet '08 -- he went 9.91 @138 and still pickin' at it .......S/S Q2 coming up ..........

Also -- Pictured below is Wally Zalak and sons with their 71 Corvette who have been awarded "Best Engineered " at this event -- a great looking car that will surely win best appearing at another race this year ! ! !

I don't see his SS car on the sheet. Did he not run the car? Why not?
