[QUOTE=Ed Fernandez;177852]The difference in times and speeds is not something I feel is in my favor.
I've seen a few of these fast cars in action and it's kind of uncomfortable in my mind. Seems like the older you get the more you're aware of your mortality. Ed -- So let me get this right -- its OK if a 69 Camaro AA/SA passes you at 136 but a Mustang AA/S at 145 is uncomfortable -- maybe its time to go back to Street Eliminator ........ if you want things in your favor .

When have you ever been passed by a stocker doing a buck forty five? Maybe a Super Stocker or two... Those speeds might put out your stogie...LOL. JC |

Imagine a Mustang hitting a great Big Impala Estate Wagon at over 140mph the Mustang would be history and the Impala would be ready for second round with just a little bit of duck tape. I love fast cars but I enjoy the slower class even more. The Mustangs and Challengers are just catching up and passing all the Camaros and Firebirds with LT1 And LS1 motored cars that have been dominating the class in the past. Remember this is Stock Eliminator where men are men and aren't afraid of something new, it's just going to make you work harder. Look at Al Corda, Woodro Josey, these guy's aren't afraid to change brand, type or technologies, Billy Nee's can make most tuna can competitive. Bring on the new Camaro v6 and v8 now I'm really looking forward to the future. I wouldn't want to see the Mustang leave for Super Stock, we need the new blood. Just my opinion and I know what people say about opinion. Claude Ruel
