CIC Race at SportsNationals

I ran some AHRA races back in the '60s with my NHRA Super Stocker, and could run over a second under their record. Their national records were all bogus soft. You could only run 1/10th under or you broke out. I would have loved a no break out format. Hard to slow a car over a second.

The CIC race at Pat's is run like an NHRA Comp Elminator race. I can't wait to see it.

Pat, what factor are you using for the cic race .7 or 1.00 under the index? Tom

Last year we used 1.00 as the factor which made it real eazy to calculate in my head. We are trying to get CompuLink to allow us to change the CIC factor with imput, rather than "hard wired" into the computer systems at .50.

We will make the call before 1st round. How about getting it started?

What would the driver's like to see?

1.40 under the new indexes, may not be too many getting hit with the CIC.

Sounds like no one gets hit EVER at that level. Kind of like NHRAs AHFS. Needs to be at where Least under class winner level to make it hit everyone running or .1 or .2 lower so Being Quickest in country is benefited...
