I say your argument doesn't hold water. So you bring up the AHFS?
And where did I say I was talking about you in particular? Perhaps you should read the whole thread. Maybe then you'll understand the "point" we're staying on here. And by the way - you appear to have no reading comprehension whatsoever. I didn't say anything even close to what you suggested. If you can figure it out, let me know.

Or perhaps you think it's all about you.

Bottom line: So long as this sport is dominated by 1,000' cheaters, you all deserve what you get. I can't believe this thread actually has posts chastizing a guy for wanting to RACE all 1320'.

Wink Re: How the factory "Package" cars may save Stock

Finally, I have to be honest with myself! After the past seven years of R&D, and picking my combination up one full second, I'm not doing anything right. So, I talked to Mommy and Daddy and we decided to buy one of the New Factory "package" Race Cars. That'll give me an extra 3 tenths. Heck, if I can't beat 'em I'll join 'em. Thanks to everybody that inspired me and for your input on my new project...I'm going out on a limb here, but I think I can be the first stocker in the 8's...( God, I've got to stop drinking potato juice! lol)

I dono Jim..we can use your car as a testbed.......Im working on the formulation of a phase change top cylinder lubricant that can be sumliminated into the fuel air stream thereby depositing a hyperviscous material that absorbs massive amount of heat during it phase change thereby removing it in much the same way a ceramic piston coating reflects it this will remove it , it also increases charge density so more "bang" action.... it semi soluable so NHRA tech cant consider it a "coating" and it has a short cylinder life because of the sodium composition, its soft, so it will only work for the duration of the sublimination cycle.......Maybe 5 or 6 piston strokes....

If my thermodynaics are accurate (and I think they are) well...well have to be careful not to lauch the test vehicle into a low earth orbit.... Gotta Dig out the old Mig 25 pressure suit...how tall are you ?

The trick is coming up with something that does not leave a corrosive or abrasive residue after its decomp point.......the hunt goes on..

Hey Ive got nothing better to do in a Hospital room on a Sunday evening....

Cant find anywhere in the "Rulez" its dissallowed...hence its legal right

AND to all the rest Im only half serious....the low earth orbit thing is bunk....really in an ideal world itd be good for 1/2 sec.....

You quoted me. It would be a logical conclusion that you were addressing something I said. However, it is now obvious that logic is not your strong suit. I read the whole thread. Several times. The point of the thread, according to the title ("How the factory "Package" cars may save Stock") and the original poster, is that somehow the new cars will save Stock. The fact that you wandered off on some sort of tangent bemoaning people gaming the AHFS, after posting some other nonsense, is your problem, not mine.

This is very interesting reading and really shows whats wrong with Stock as well as most of NHRA racing today.

People with too much money spending rediculous sums of money to race for almost nothing but self satisfaction..........

Then when they get bored with it all, they quit and disappear......

Rich, This is exactly why it should be class winners only in the Eliminator.

For the variety,...and the balance.
