Here's a novel idea! Since it seems to me that all of a sudden so many of you running fast Stockers are so worried about safety, why don't you just ask NHRA to take the fast Stockers (apparently the ones with the safety issues) and make them SUPER Stockers! Yeah, yeah, take the AA through D cars and make them run SS! That way you'll have to meet the safety regs. of all the other 9 and 10 second cars. Won't have to worry about any of those troublesome 4 and 5 second spots anymore either (low rent, dirtbag, slow stocker scum). Then you can also extend your cage through the firewall to make it safer, put bigger tires on it (we all know how unsafe it is running in the 9s on those skinny tires!), get rid of those flimsy, crappy rocker arms (break one of them and you could lose a motor and oil down those skinny tires), etc, etc, etc. We want all of you guys to feel safe! Seats don't affect the performance at all (except maybe letting you move around some weight which doesn't help performance). Yeah, riiight.
(All of this crap was written in the name of sarcasm) Yeah, riiight.

Billy,
I think NHRA should allow Micky to protect his azz, now the nuts are a different story, he probably needs to be fixed. JK mick

Fix the seat the way I did it in my bracket Camaro(stock seats). Mark the seat where you're comfortable with the belt in relation to the jewels, put a slit in the seat that the belt will fit through and either find a plastic sleave off of another stock belt or have an upholstery shop finish it to look good.

I won't comment as to whether Mickey needs to be "fixed" but being older an (hopefully) slightly wiser, I'd be a very wealthy man if I had been "fixed" when I was about 15!

I like your idea.....Take the AA stockers on down to about "D" or "F" stock and run them in S/S. Make stock wt breaks start around 10 lbs per. Yeah....you got it right this time Billy.
