I bought my 330 hp vortec from jegs added an rpm airgap, the 750 holley and a good balancer. With the good trans and converter, it still fell .15 short of the index. And then IHRA hit all the crate indexs for 2 tenths in '05. I added a legal set of heads and stocker grind and only ran -.35 at its best.

As for the class, im pretty sure it would be an H or I car with the 330 hp.
