Jones thanked Morgan for all his help and said it was because of him that he did so well. NHRA will probably spin it to however suits their best interests. Don't hold your breath for a retraction! Jim, I also saw the post race interview and it does tell the story you were told.. What griped me the most was all Morgan could talk about was how glad he is he's in a Ford next year and he is getting his Ford equipment this week and all that jazz... Nothing about Mopar at all... I don't know the real story of why he is switching but sure sounds like he isn't giving Mopar any credit at all... IMO......

Maybe because FORD reported $11 Billion in earnings this quarter and stated they expected positive earnings all through next year. GM & Chrysler, who chose to sleep with the devil on the other hand....

Ford's pre-tax operating profit of $1.1 billion marked its first quarter in the black on that basis since early 2008. Ford finished the quarter with $23.8 billion in automotive cash, up $2.8 billion from the end of June. 7:20 am U.S. ET | Nov. 2 | UPDATED: 11/2/09 4:22 p.m. ET Comments [34] | Recommended [4]

I agree with you Mack, don't burn your bridges and all that. Give due credit. However Ford must be doing something right! On a side, have you seen the latest (newest, first, whatever) Fiat/Chryslers? OMG! Can you say BUTT UGLY? Complete with the Fiat oval grille and all! I'll try to find a link. Jim
