The fastest car should always get the bye! If it rains NHRA doesn't flip coins or look at cards to see who gets the Wally!

With 16 cars in A/SA I think a sportsman ladder based on qualifing would be fair. This may be as good as show as the AH cars. Maybe better. Thanks, Doug Duell

I think a pro ladder should be used because hard work or a fortunate stroke of a pen on a piece of "Paper " should be rewarded!

if the qualifying ladder was complete, then we should use it... however the q sheet is NOT complete until after 1st round of class...
the guys who "play the game" of class OFTEN do not show thier hand until it is neccessary, cmon you texas holdem players... no fun if your hole cards are up right ? by FORCING everyone to show thier hole cards on the fake promise of a fair ladder is bull**** and would kill some of the suspense of class racing...coin flips, card games and hat draws are fine example of RANDOM pairings to me and fair too. with that said... NHRA, because of the megabuck stockers / internet whiners and criers have already ruined what class racing was all about... WALLY'S PROGRAM THAT GUARANTEED EVERY CLASS TO REPRESENTED IN ELIMINATIONS. winning class doesnt mean **** anymore now that class winners are not in the field and im amazed that intelligent people are wasting this amount of time discussing how class should be run when it dosent mean anything. how about a new topic...who should get the 1st time shots in the morning, which lane pulls out first, can i jump into the one thats moving to try to get good air ???? these questions are NOW the important ones because they may well determine who gets in the fastest mustang show in the next few years. captain jack...14 time us nationals class winner

This my first Nationals and I am looking forward to running class. With a new Mustang , 3 new Challengers and the other fast A/SA cars this should be exciting. Larry I agree the Pro ladder would be better, cant wait. Thanks, Doug
