Great group who run this series but RT66 doesnt allow you to enter both the SC race and the bracket race. What a waste of a great facility to be run by people who have no clue! Maybe the SC association board should take their races to only those tracks who are actually happy to see racers show up. TG

Troy, John Knechtges from Route 66 was at out MWSC spring meeting and I brought the topic up with him. I still think Charlie has the final say in the matter but John seemed open to it happening in 2010. He told if there was enough interest I should get my fellow racers to email them at info@route66raceway.com and they would look into it. I explained to him about the different tree and different set-up between Super Pro and Super Comp. I think they are afraid of ticking off some of the Super Pro racers. thinking that we would have an unfair advantage. I know of probably 6 of our regulars that would run both, which would put another $360 into 66's pocket per race. I would think in ths economy, they would welcome us to run both classes. I guess whoever reads this, please email them and show your support for allowing us to run both classes, thanks

Will do Jeff. Any bracket racer who gets ticked off about getting beat "by someone who is also racing in Super Comp today" might just as well sell their stuff and buy a boat cause they are not likely to see the winner circle anytime soon. Thanks again for the direction Jeff and I'll be sure to lose the attitude prior to emailing them. TG

And a fine time was had by all. Well, there were a couple engine related not too fun things. And sunday went on forever. 270 cars in the house. I can't wait to read the Baer Facts on the web site.
