Tom,
This information came from people at the track. Prove that it didn't happen! That may be kinda tough for you since you are totally out of the loop and post like your basic run of the mill heckler.

D Holly,
You brought attention to the new CJ at Atlanta but, I found out that we don't necessarily have control of where the thread goes after that.

C Wigle and Heath,
Nobody is crying here. Months ago, many of us predicted what these cars would do and now they are running those numbers. The CJ/Ford guys were slipping around with non denial denials about this car's performance. We were right and it's worth making that known. You guys have to live with the humiliation of running a car that is damn near as fast as a SS/AH in Stock. No we aren't crying. We are laughing.

We can run Stock or Super Stock with it. However, we do make changes to run it in Super Stock. We will change it back to Stock for the divisional races. If you go to Atlanta this weekend, stop by and introduce yourself.

What changes did you make??

Terry,
With 4-valve heads AND a blower, who needs nitrous??? You want to blow the crank right out on the ground???

Wish ~I~ could afford one of those things.... sigh...

Bruce,

I don't get what the issue is? Ford proposed a factory built stock eliminator car and NHRA accepted it. The car has yet to hit that magic refactor mark but several of you racers want it factored out. Why don't you guys get together and get a lawyer and sue or give it an rest because this is getting old and riduclous.
If Ford and Chrysler decided to pull these cars would that make you all happy?

Smitty,

I don't think the people who are complaining aboput these cars have ANY gripes beyond the unreasonably soft and unrealistic HP factor they were given.

Nobody wants to see these cars go away; they just would like to have a fighting chance to beat them, sometime, witinn the Class racing.

As things stand, it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
