I would have to agree with joe in this economy work is more important . Maybe saturday& sunday events would get the car count higher . ?

This is why the East Coast Stock/Super Stock races are so much fun to go to....Dave Ley runs a great race and you don't have to miss work.....NHRA should think about this...the economy is tanking....I'm sure racers that have to work on fridays would like to be at a race for the full event (sat/sun)....some people that have to work on friday might not bother making the trip for a race that's over the day they show up.

Hey Joe......
Does anyone remember how we got to this point? Let's go back 25 years....... Race was on sunday only (with a sunday morning time trial). Saturday was a time trial day (for those that could make it on saturday). Then...... somewhere in the late 80's (i'm guessing), some track decided to have a test and tune (and parking ) on friday. That turned into a three day points meet shortly after. I hate racing on fridays too..... but I do like getting home for church on sunday! tom sheehan
