Mud, does your Chevelle have a 'dash bar' in the cage? Just wondering if one is required to get 8.50 cert. Thanks

Ken, a dash bar is only reqired on a 8.50 tag car if the tunnel and floor have been modified beyond the allowed 6 square feet as stated in the rule book. Joe

Thank you Joe. It's not easy to find a spot for a dash bar in late Malibu's. And I'm a few 10th's away from a 9 second slip. And with the cert fees going up.....well, low ten's sound OK.
