Looks like it is also 1/8th mile. Many won't run 1/8th mile if it were held across the street.

Anyone that skipped this event missed out. The IHRA and Immokalee crew ran a flawless program. We got plenty of qualifing runs and the track was very consistent. The weather was real nice. The air was mine shaft on thursday and friday. Ralph had a great BBQ for all of the racers on saturday evening. This is the kind of race that all of you dream about on this website. The sportsman racer was king at this event. I did not hear one complaint all weekend from anyone about the staff or the facility. We really need to start to support the tracks that cater to the sportsman racerss.

On another note I would like to congratulate my long time best friend Jay Slane for a great win in Super stock on Friday. That was the third race in a row that he had reached the final round. I guess thats why he is the SSSSA champ.

I would also like to congratulate Todd Thompson on a dominating performance in Super Rod. He doubled up with wins on Saturday and also won the sports national on Sunday. Unbeleivable job of driving.
