Talking Level Playing Field

If superchargers are going to be legal in some classes of Stock Eliminator, I think normally aspirated cars in the same class should be allowed to run nitrous.

Jim,

I think you are onto a great idea. 1 stage or multiple stages? You never know, it may bring some contingency sponsors into the deal. AA/S running in the 8's sounds scary on a 9x30 tire and the older cars won't stop worth a darn but heck it adds excitement.

Just to rub it in... I found this video of the new Cobra Jet Stocker being tested.

I imagine they'll be faster with the ram air hood and 9x 30's

Jim, superchargers (and turbochargers) are legal in all Stock classes and always have been. I you ever figure out how to "level the playing field" in Drag Racing in general and Stock in particular let me know so that I can get you working on "leveling the playing field" of life!

Billy, for that kind of tillage you would require the "cultural cultivator".

Wink Re: Level Playing Field

Never can tell what the scanctioning bodies are up to. After all, we are required to wear Firesuits this year...(laughing)...My vote is for the Supercharged Factory Race Cars (can't bring myself to call 'em Stockers) having to run Regular Unleaded Gas that test less than 89 octane. And everybody else can run ECR - DLDR.
