Woody,

You ain't going to believe this, but the D-4 tracks voted to to go along with DECREASING the entry fee for the LODRS in Division 4. From $155 to $150.

No change in the payouts, and I believe that D-4 tracks offer the largest payouts, starting with 3rd round runner-up.

BTW, I am just about finishing the new pea gravel pit at the end of the run-off area. We'll add 4-foot high concrete side wall along the pit and then add a catch net (just in case).

We have over 1/2-mile of runoff, but nothing to stop or slow the car down. We wouldn't want to see anyone become gator bait. Remember, we have a pond at the end of the road course (with a 10-foot levee).

Pat that is good news. lets see what our leader does this week-end, maybe our tracks will vote it down also.
Pat, be sure you keep the pea gravel trap plowed up, thats what was in Gainesville, and it was hard as concrete.

Now if only D-7 tracks would vote to lower theirs as well from $165 to $150 that would be great!!!

However, I'm not holding my breath on it! I wish all tracks in all divisions would charge the same amount for divisionals/national opens just like they do for nationals...but I know I'm wishful thinking!!!
