Smile Need some Advice on building a Stocker

Hi Everyone,
Hope All had a good Holiday Season and everybody is ready to go racing again.

I am currently building a 96 Trans Am Formula Stocker with a LT1. It is currently getting a cage installed and Im in the process of ordering suspension parts to get this thing rolling. i Was hoping some you you experienced racers could lead me in the right direction in a couple of areas.

Transmission: I was planning on running a McClay 200 tranny but was curious on what brand on converters most are using. Not trying to get particular part numbers or anything but i wanted to get an idea of what works best for most. Evidently, we need to figure out what brand we want and then he can build the tranny with the right internal parts.

EFI : I was looking for one of the easier to tune systems. This is our first experience in EFI racing and we needed something that was relatively easy to work with. I was told by one source that FAST was one that was easier to work with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Didnt mean to step on any toes by asking what your using, but i figured racers would know best. I look forward to hopefuly seeing some of you at the track next year. Thank you in advance for your help.
