CCMP Race #5 at Darlington

Saturday, October 12th is our Liberty's Gears points race #5 for the CCMP 2024 season & Darlington Dragway is the place to be. This race will be deemed The Gary McKee "Day Dreamer" Memorial Race & will be held each year. They are having their *Night of Fire* event Saturday evening with nitro fuel altereds, jet funny cars, & wheelstanders so pack up the trucks/motorhomes & bring the whole family for a Saturday night fun night at the track.

Gates will open on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. for a track hosted test & tune from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. Testing fee is $30.00.

Saturday gates open at 10 a.m. with bracket time runs beginning at 12 p.m. Run order will be determined once we get to the track & talk with management. Johnson's Heating & Air Conditioning (Steve Johnson) is our Saturday title race sponsor with GBM Land and Construction (Brodie & Gary McKee) being the associate race sponsor for this event. We will follow our normal schedule of 2 qualifying passes to establish a ladder & then begin eliminations. Hodges Custom Homes (Art Hodges) is the Top Qualifier Sponsor for the #1 qualifier receiving $200.00 cash.

Hurricane Milton is going to hit the Florida area hard this week but we are praying it is going to miss Darlington Dragway & we will be able to get this race completed. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!
