IMHO, its easier to make HP with the older motors vs the newer motors, as far is gaining HP with Stock/ Superstock engine blueprint rules. The machining process back in the 60's, 70's and even 80's is far inferior compared to todays new motors from the factory. You just can't gain as much HP blueprinting the newer motors. So if the new combo does'nt have a favorable HP rating it will not be cometitive. Flame away. LOL
