So Adger are you saying instead of fixing the AHFS you would rather see about ONE THOUSAND STOCKER'S SCRAP THEIR MOTORS and go back to the old cam rules of the 70's. I think you would be in the MINORITY on that one. But if that's the cam anyone wants to use go for it. There is nothing stopping anyone from using the old style cam shafts. They are still legal to run in Stock. My lift would stay the same. My cars also ran fast under those rules. I never asked for any of the enhancements we have been given. But I do believe in the old saying that I'm not going to bring a knife to a gun fight. Especially in the classes I hang out in. I go to Indy as often as I can. Been apart several times with different cars and combo's. Including under old rules of lift, duration overlap and spring pressure. Not once been bounced. BP
