I think if the car lost 60' because of spin, the ET loss will compound as you go down the track.
If you fully deep stage, your 60' might be .08 slow but your incrementals should stay the same as a shallow run, resulting in a 1/4 mile time that is .08 slow. Not all 60' changes are created equal.
