Since I'm the engine builder I will have to take the blame. A air leak, @ 45 psi, was found at block to front cover. Water flows both directions to and from water pump through front cover. Will check block and cover for flatness, O ring grove for depth and finish, and O ring type gasket for cuts. Reassemble and re check.
Checking tool was a blocked off water pump, 0-60 psi tire gauge, Schrader valve. Gauge was piped in. |
