Temperature effects fuel vaporization along with how well the container its stored in is sealed. Use only metal, no plastic. Race fuels have different Vaporization rates. Read your fuel specs, there's a lot of information there that is useful.

I have a heavy duty VP Plastic Container.
Normally buy fuel at the track and then pour in the tank.

Figure the metal tank would be more reactive than a plastic container.
Have stored fuel in the Plastic Container between races.
Not noticed any performance difference from gas stations over the certified NHRA fuels.
