New nmca class 2017

Lets be honest here. Outside of a handful of racers coast to coast, how many sportsman racers are doing it for a living ? Everyone who belongs to every racing association packs up and goes to the track harboring the thought of winning. Some , not so much as others and they all have there own reasons to be there. YOU HAVE HEARD IT BEFORE AND WILL HEAR IT AGAIN-----if you are in it for the money, your in the wrong sport because nobody outside of a few Super Bracket Races will the winnings cover your weekend. It is for the love of the sport. What makes it harder in a performance driven catagory such as S/SS is money . Class racing is a combination of a lot of personalities willing to spend untold amounts of money to be the class bad-azz or the the top qualifiers. It is all about personal satisfaction--can't possibly be about the money. Bottom line at the machine shop---Speed costs money--How fast do want to go ?
