2016 Cobra Jet - Buy It Now

All Cobra Jets have a rotation number on the dash but not a VIN. The cars are numbered one through fifty. The dealer gave EBAY that VIN so that it would be for sale in all of the Ford categories not just under race cars. If you list a race car on EBAY, you do not need a VIN but it will only be viewed under race cars that are not street legal. The car listed for sale is Cobra Jet #6 according to drivers rear window. Those pictures were taken at Watson Engineering where the cars are assembled. I don't believe Ford Racing has started releasing the cars yet. The dealer is trying to get a jump on the sale before the other cars are available. I don't think using a VIN for a different Mustang is really legal but EBAY doesn't know the difference and probably doesn't care. The seller is the one who is misrepresenting the car. I think an Attorney General would take a dim view of representing a motor vehicle with a different VIN than the one for sale. I believe the price is the list price on a 2016 CJ. The only two options are graphics and wheelie bar which this car has both.
