It was a blast in Vegas this weekend. Congrats to all the winners and thanks to Madcap engines, Chris Blair and Jeff Foster for putting on a great race!
Here's a summary; There was a pre-entered 64 car field/ $500 to enter bracket race where a the winner and runner up BOTH won a 555 CU Madcap Motor worth $13,000and the semi's won a Pro-Glide Trans from Mikes trans worth $4500. The Quarter Finalist won $1000. Peter Biondo won the race driving the Lamb Family's 06 Racetech powered by a Madcap Motor, Chuck Hawk was the runner up. Brandon Lundeen and Jack Beckman were the semis finalist. Biondo also got to the quarter finals driving the popular Land Shark Dragster and had to race himself so he parked the shark after it had trouble starting before the round. The Ultimate Gamblers race was the next morning and it was fun. It was a $1000 to enter/ winner take all format race. With 45 cars there was some heavy hitters. Kyle Seipel and Peter Biondo made it to the final and the good friends split the money. Seipel beat Biondo in the race with a .008 and dead on the number while Biondo was also .008 and one over the number. The $45,000 breakdown ended up being 20 grand each for Seipel and Biondo and 5 grand went to the lone semi-finalist and current Pro Stock NHRA World Champion Jeg Coughlin. Anthony Bertozzi, Jeff Cheney, and Dan Lafferty all lost with 6 cars. Congrats to Seipel and Biondo along with all the other winners. Ryan Priddy, Joseph Landavazo, Jack Beckman, and Dean Hall all won $5,000 to win races! It was a good time by all! |
