Crankshaft repair

Anyone have any suggestions .
I have 1 journal that may need repair , however , this journal is hard chromed , as they all are. Years ago I had Crankshaft Specialist in Memphis do some work after a rod break. They did very nice work ......then. From what I'm reading on line NOW , they / he is an untrustworthy ripoff. I am only repeating what you can see for yourself with a Google search.
So , what happened to them?
And who now is doing hard chrome repairs?
