I think there were a few reasons for the decision, and there is a band of showers headed that way right now, that may or may not have affected todays program had they stuck with it as printed.
Dave, my mistake...I did a quick peek of the schedule the other day and didn't remember it all...the tt was for bikes.

Starting eliminations on Saturday was a good call....rain was heading that way on Sunday...I think. TOO MUCH of that showing up at NHRA races this year!

Think the ad says..."schedule subject to change without notice" somewhere?

Was wondering if someone would tech in on Sunday...and try to run the Open....w/o
a time trial?

A similar situation happened when I was at the Atco Open about 8-10 years ago...
Rain was heading towards the track so they hot-lapped everybody and got the
whole race in about 1pm or so....

A few minutes later...the skies opened up.....
done about 1 pm or so....
