We are sitting here in line probably 30 or more rigs in front of us. We got here about 1 am. They are lined up almost to the road at the Main Gate now.
We left before dark last night and saw about 30 or so deer as we went up I-24 and I-57. Then after dark about 9:30 we hit the deer that we didn't see until it was too late. Larry put on the brakes, but was probably still going 55 when we hit it. We got lucky as it only messed up the plastic bumper cover. But it just missed the transmission oil cooler! It is 36 degrees now, going up to 62 today and bright and sunny! Friday is looking good --65. Then Sat and Sun up to 70. Just a little chance of rain on Sat. Well more later.
