Good news, Ms Cafaro has been contacted by the Lee County Veterans Service Center and has been told that they will follow up on her claim for the pension that is owed to her. In addition, John stated he will personally follow-up with the VA and notify Ms Cafaro of the progress. He stated it would be about 3 weeks and she would get an answer and that the payment would be retroactive to the passing of her husband. Special thanks to the Lee County Veterans Service Center, AMVETS, American Legion Post 90 and of course Chris O'Keefe for all of your efforts in making this happen. And Chris, thank you for letting me assist.
