I shoot alot of those military matches @ 250 meters with iron sites. You should really enjoy it. Shot a match 2 weeks ago. Pre 1900 ------- 4th place Bolt action--------2nd place Semi-auto -------4th place Pre 1900 was shot with a model 1896 swedish mauser Bolt action was a K31 schmidt rubin, austrian semi used an sks of chinese origin.
