The best way someone can build a CJ "clone" would be to buy a 2010 V-6 car and sell the powertrain.
Then, go get a second mortgage on your home and head over to the Ford Racing site becuase they sell everything needed to build a CJ look-a-like. (hood, emblems, rear end, engine, etc.) Ford sells a 2012 CJ rolling chassis for 50K also.
