Which electric shifter to buy? (3-speed B&M Ratchet)

. I have had nothing but problems with it. It never makes the 2-3 shift,except for the first run of the day.

I have heard of this happening to others. One guy was charging his car between rounds and not turning off his master switch to the battery before connecting the charger which caused it somehow to not shift second time, not sure what that had to do with anything but it fixed it.
