Key word in that Harry is "could", because first either Feld Motorsports would have to be willing to sell IHRA to them, or they would have to be in dire straits to thus need that offer to possibly come about...neither of which I forsee happening (especially after reading about Tucson's Nitro Jam fan count, and the fans that San Antonio had as well). NHRA made their bed, now they have to sleep in it, and it might not be comfortable for them anymore...they can however keep away from IHRA, because they may have their faults, but making us class racers feel like second class citizens isn't one of them, like the frequently enhanced Glendora group has been doing in recent years!
Please know that it's not that I'm opposed to NHRA racing, but when their top people are making so much money, and our entry fees continue to be enhanced (not to mention lowering our indexes to make those of us with modest budgets barely competitive anymore, and regardless of how/why those enhancements occured), why should I show them love, when they haven't shown me (us) much in return (lately)? Oh and furthermore, I said that without regards to you fast class stocker racers who have to compete with the DP's & CJ's in your same classes....talk about having a knife in a gunfight???
