1) Yes, they have Stock. 2A-B-C) The classes are mostly the same. With a few exceptions. Crate Motor Stock, Stock GT, Pure Stock. They also have all 16 FWD Classes and the Truck Classes. Also there are EFI classes. Your car, as a P/SA, would be an I/FIA. Some HP factors will differ between NHRA/IHRA. Weight breaks are mostly the same. http://classracer.com/classes.html are all the weight breaks for both HRA's. IHRA tech contact info can be found at http://www.ihra.com/competition/index.php 3) Yes, you will need an IHRA number. Often you can get the same # as NHRA. IHRA does not have a Division 6 or 7 as NHRA does, but I believe you can use your 6-7 number. Check a contact listed in the answer to previous question 4) Yes, you will have to join IHRA. 5) IHRA does factor one or two tracks that are at elevation. Not sure what/if Tuscon's factor will be. The Indexes, at sea level, are the same as NHRA's were prior to 2010. IHRA, P/SA and I/FIA are both 13.75 (sea level). Hope this helps.
