Engine builders ?

Does anybody have any history with scott shafiroff race engines long island, looking for a 434 sbc i cant buld it for what he sells it for. He has the exact specs i want and with the upgrades it has all the right stuff in it. 10.00 bracket car that gets 150 passes a season and we try to not put it on the edge. I only know 1 person who has one. Anybody have any thoughts thanks !
