283 Stocker Engine For Sale....

I'm selling my engine from last year. Its a 283/220, stock block, .062 over. It consists of CP pistons, Manley rods and a steel crank with an aluminum balancer. .399 lift Comp cam and a set of Sherman lifters. The heads were done by Conway Witten and have Manley valves. These heads were poured and inspected by Travis "unofficially" at his home before Indy last year. We qualified 7th in bracket mode at 1.283 under the index. It went as fast as 1.29 under at K weight in Memphis D4 last year, all of this before the index change of course. Put your intake and rockers on and go racing! I'm firm on the price of $8500. In this day and age of $12,000-$16,000 stocker engines, I would say this is a bargain. Buy it and go fast!! 573-275-1618
