Default Wheel tubs in Super Stock

I left a message with NHRA tech but their at the races right now. I've been told the rule regarding wheel tubs (must be steel, same gauge as factory) has been modified to allow the use of aluminum tubs. But I can't find reference to that in the rule book. Is aluminum allowed (or carbon fiber), and if so, where is it noted?
Another question. Is a full length one piece tub allowed in a car that came equipped with a trunk (unlike the 'vettes)? I've heard of at least one SS 1st gen Camaro with this feature. I like the idea of a carbon fiber tub as there would be no rock dents like aluminum and a full one-piece tub offers more room on the underside to work around. I can't imagine carbon fiber is any lighter than aluminum.
