I race a slow bracket car I and will say that a slow car is always out front. The driver of a slow car that cuts a good light, has a consistent car, and can judge the rate of gain of a quicker car can win on a regular basis. However, learning rate-of-gain as well as speed and distance can only be achieved through many runs at the track.
